At Long Island Cheer we offer clinics in many varieties and styles such as:
-Tumbling Clinics
-Stunting Clinics
-Jump and Motion Clinics
-Dance Clinics

 

Tumbling Clinics

Tumbling Clinics will involve a predetermined amount of time designated to the attention of improving tumbling technique and skills progressions.
We provide drills, spotting, tumble track and trampoline applications to help better skills and progressions.
Tumbling Clinics can be booked as a team, or may be scheduled by level for any athlete to attend. 
You will leave our tumbling clinics not only with some repetitions of the next skill you're working, but you will also leave with the knowledge to tackle the skill back at practice or your next open gym.

Stunting Clinics 

Stunting Clinics will involve a predetermined amount of time designated to the attention of safe and progressive stunting. 
We will provide appropriate advice on:
-What skills should be worked based on current experience of the athletes
-Proper stunting technique
-Trick drills to help create good habits
-Strength exercises to better the technique of the athlete

Stunting Clinics can and usually are booked as a team, but we may also schedule open clinics for any athlete to attend.
Our stunting clinics will help athletes leave feeling confident, safe, and strong in what they are attempting. 

Jumps and Motions Clinics

Jump and Motions Clinics will involve a predetermined amount of time designated to the cleaning and progression of jumps and general cheer motions.
We provide quality instruction on proper placements, and movement drills to help make your jumps and motions better.
We use high repetition drills and sequences to help build strength and muscle memory within each athlete. This will help the movements that are not normal for the athlete become natural.
Most drills and sequences have built in strength intentions to help make the athlete more explosive and strong during these exercises.

Motions and Jumps can and usually are booked as a team, but we may also schedule open clinics for any athlete to attend.
Our motions and jumps clinic will help athletes leave more explosive and prepared for practices to come.

Dance Clinics

Dance clinics are a predetermined amount of time designated to the cleaning and tightening up of an athletes dance skills.
In our dance clinics, we will help fix or clean up any dance in the following ways:
-Visual effect enhancment
-Motion placement practice
-Footwork practice
-Level Change additions or subtractions
-Formations

Dance Clinics can and usually are booked as a team, but we may also schedule open dance clinics for any athlete to attend.
